Ciudades dormitorio / Dormitory towns

With them Hawkers and coloredbombings, with its noises and contradictories traffic lights Los Teques it show rich in images and sounds, poor awareness and trial. Overcrowded and fickle as few, stalking and dangerous as many cities in my beloved country.

La isla de Francia y "los parigots" / The France island and "the parigots"

. . .

La Ville de lumière not only has brilliant urbanities and style, it have also an atmospheric splendor that is reflected in every street, every face, every plate and every glass of wine.

I have the occurrence to talk about parigots because it reminds me of those nicknames that people give in order to underestimate. Curiously in time, the people of the place change not only adopting as a name they also transform it the name in the pride in the region. Such is the case of SUDACAS in Latin America or in the bittersweet PARIGOTS Paris.

With so much to say of nostalgic Paris I show you without more introducction.

Ventanas / Windows

. . .

The windows in photography are frame of the eyes, they are precisely the context of a detail.

. . .

What it means landscape? the complete answer is something that i ignore but, i know with certainty that it has broken with the concept of "extension of land from a view point." Clearly the landshap the first term defined in XVI century idea wich the Dutch painters of the era describes as a region or tract of land has changed to adapt to the demands of our days but, what is it extension? Four decades after this presentation with paint, outlines the potential of the word and start talking not only about an area of land or a region, it start to talk about a image that represent, which indicates a difference between definition of a space, then the artistic sense until arrive to talk about a reality.

What is the reality of the landscape? the one that represents an existing or the one wich presents a different space from one taht we know, probably both and more.

This discussion of the meaning is majestically in the photography may well represent a seen or to have the option of creating a new place made from the reality, possibly causing a bidimensional space which is also reflected the perception of the environment, experience eye and hand capturing. Then, the photography proposes a space with no competition: the landscape through the camera, the detail or the generality of this extension of land and finally, the result of an amalgam of events and factors that give a new meaning and substance to a landscape.

This is my definition, these are my landscapes, I call it: LANDSCAPES STRANGE.

De la serie: "Reflejos de Caracas" / From the serie: "Reflections of Caracas"

Dedicado a mi querido cubano...

El viaje / The trip

. . .

For an instant let's skip the introduction and display the node. Nothing had been planned that week, I woke up I received a phonecall at 9:03 in the morning and a friendly invitation to escape for a day. The best trips are those wonderful improvised, full of unexpected surprises and successfully overcome. I took my keys and i made a small bag and I went to uncertain destinations. Camera in hand never miss! The rest of the story i tell you in another language: The photography

I was thinking (because leisure is mother of all things) and it occurred to me to do a serie called "Urban geometries". In a tour of some places I found a subtle taste for architecture and above all I found my perception of it.

Let's don't talk! here I share with you the "apreritif"

De presentaciones poco/ Not much about presentations

. . .

When at some point of the way we stop just to look arround, to see the way done, the footprints left. The feets get naked to the eternal present that moment when the camera shot to give another form of existence of what we live.

This space is exactly that stop, that detention, see again the way where i find new shadows, new contrasts, new colors, new others, new I.

Or maybe just different, a little bit different.
